About OUTCRY
A public complaint intelligence platform — built to make invisible problems visible and help people take action.
What is OUTCRY?
OUTCRY is a platform where anyone in the world can register a complaint about government services, corporations, scams, healthcare, education, transport, or environmental issues — and get instant, AI-powered guidance on exactly what to do next.
Unlike petition sites or review platforms, OUTCRY provides jurisdiction-specific legal direction: which agency to contact, which helpline to call, which law protects you, and what documents you need — tailored to your country, state, and city.
Complaints are public by default (with an anonymous option), creating visibility and social proof. When many people report the same issue, patterns emerge — and pressure builds for resolution.
How AI Works at OUTCRY
Every complaint filed on OUTCRY is analyzed by our AI system (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate a structured resolution path. This includes:
- Identifying the relevant regulatory authority for your specific location
- Citing applicable laws, consumer protection acts, and government schemes
- Providing helpline numbers and official complaint portals
- Suggesting escalation steps if the first approach fails
Important: AI-generated resolutions are informational guidance, not legal advice. They are based on publicly available legal frameworks and government resources. For formal legal proceedings, always consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
Trust & Safety
OUTCRY takes platform safety seriously:
- Privacy protection: Automatic detection of Aadhaar, PAN, phone numbers, and credit card numbers in complaint text
- Defamation screening: AI flags unsupported criminal accusations before publication
- Anonymous posting: Identity is hidden from public view; stored only for moderation under court order
- Content moderation: All complaints are subject to our Content Guidelines
- Human review: High-risk content is held for manual review before publication
