OUTCRY.world is an intermediary platform as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (United States), and the EU E-Commerce Directive 2000/31/EC. We provide a platform for users to share complaints and access AI-generated advisory guidance.

2. Platform Status — Intermediary Protection

OUTCRY.world operates as an intermediary platform, not a publisher. We do not create, endorse, verify, or take responsibility for user-generated content. Under applicable intermediary liability protections:

  • India: Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 — intermediary not liable for third-party content
  • United States: Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act — "No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider"
  • European Union: E-Commerce Directive 2000/31/EC, Articles 12-15 — hosting provider liability exemption
  • United Kingdom: Online Safety Act 2023 compliance as a user-to-user service

3. User-Generated Content

Users are solely responsible for the content they post. By posting, you represent that:

  • Your complaint is based on genuine personal experience
  • You are not posting defamatory, false, or malicious content
  • You have the right to share the information you post
  • Your content does not violate any applicable law

Complaints posted in good faith about genuine consumer experiences are protected as fair comment and honest opinion under defamation laws in most jurisdictions. OUTCRY.world facilitates this protected speech.

4. AI Resolution Disclaimer

CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: AI-generated resolutions provided on this platform are for informational and educational purposes only. They do NOT constitute legal advice, professional counsel, or official guidance. AI resolutions are:

  • Generated by artificial intelligence based on publicly available information
  • Advisory in nature — not a substitute for professional legal counsel
  • Subject to errors, omissions, and outdated information
  • Not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation

OUTCRY.world, its owners, operators, and affiliates accept no liability for any actions taken based on AI-generated resolutions. Always consult a qualified legal professional before taking legal action.

5. OUTCRY Pro — Subscription & No Refund Policy

NO REFUND POLICY: OUTCRY Pro is a digital service that provides immediate access to AI-generated legal direction and resolution guidance. Once you subscribe and access any Pro feature (including viewing full AI resolutions), the service is considered fully delivered and consumed.

  • All Pro subscription payments are final and non-refundable
  • By subscribing, you expressly consent to immediate service delivery and waive your right of withdrawal
  • This is in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 (India) for digital services immediately performed
  • EU users: Under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content which has begun performance with the consumer's prior express consent
  • Subscription period: 3 months from date of payment (₹199)
  • You may cancel future renewals at any time, but no refund will be issued for the current period

6. Anonymous Posting

Users may post complaints anonymously. When posting anonymously:

  • Your identity is hidden from public view
  • Your account information is stored securely but not publicly displayed
  • We may disclose identity information only when required by a valid court order or law enforcement request with proper legal authority
  • Anonymous users have the same rights and responsibilities as identified users

7. Content Moderation

OUTCRY.world reserves the right to remove content that:

  • Contains hate speech, threats of violence, or harassment
  • Is spam, fraudulent, or commercially motivated fake complaints
  • Contains personal information (doxxing) of private individuals
  • Violates intellectual property rights
  • Is clearly false and made with malicious intent

We comply with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (India) regarding grievance redressal and content takedown.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUTCRY.world SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM AI RESOLUTIONS, USER-GENERATED CONTENT, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. For international users, local consumer protection laws may provide additional rights that cannot be waived.
